i have heard a track made by skazi and d.j ami from vision quest called ace never again, it is killer track , w3ho is this guy? |

DJ Ami has played overseas in UK and France, and has recently started to play at Vision Quest parties. He plays a spiritual blend of trance, which cannot be easily defined or categorised.

Hi all,
dj ami is the resdent dj of vision quest in japan before he played trance he used to play acid jazz music and since 1996 he is playin trance.he played all over the world in major parties. he is one of the big promises rising from that side of the world. Im sure we will all here more about him in the near future. |

Ami is indeed hard to put in a catagorie...the only thing that really goes for him is that it's very spiritually and powerfull music. In general very bombastic and sometimes dramatic soundscapes. His mixing is a set of different techniques and he's for sure not only beatmixing, but also playing things on many different tempo's...which is very refreshing at the right times. All mixed up with a lot of samples...sounds and voices...from Osho to Terence Mc Kenna and every space-guru in between !! I had the honor  to play with this sweet amazing guy in Belgium last summer, although we all got fucked by that "lovely" promoter Gandalf, who still owes all of us half of the wages. For now Ami's living parttime in Paris and Tokyo...travelling up and down, although lately more in Japan '' cause of playing more there....anyway...Ami is refreshing and rocking  ...no doubt about it !!!!!!!!!!!  If anyone's got his contact then please pm me...since I lost mine that I got off him.....thx.....be good all out there !!!
