Hero #1, you are totally wrong on 2 accounts:
- The guy who started this thread didn't say anything about personality, only the music. So your response was based on your personal opinion of character and was off topic. Now bray donkey bray!
- being an asshole is by no means inversely proportional to bookings as a DJ.

Agreed on teh first count.
Dont agree on the second.
Being an asshole damages reputation. Asshole behind decks will eventually give asshole vibes.
The higher pedestal an Asshole is given , the more assholey he will get. The asshole in question will get more assholey in his character.
Now, thanks for updates on the musica front.

being somewhat an idealist I would agree you on point#2 Hero#1 and I wish reality moves in that direction.
The problem especially in India is the pedestal and puppeteer ideology. And it takes a really really really really strong and peaceful character to maintain integrity though it all. it's a learning process... and it starts with being outspoken.
Anyway, one good and positive thing I see about this section is that people ARE being outspoken. Just wish we could all party together in peace outdoors. No dynamic of a party crowd will ever get along in one big happy hippy circle... that magic is only attributed to the common love for music and freakdance that keeps these mad personalities in check.
Anyway, may there be peace in the middle east and may Adi get booked India wide. Really looking forward to some solid music output from the desi-side this year!
PS. Forest Dreams for moderator! DO IT IT!

Well, personality is really subjective and since some people have taken a Jab at Adi's personality and the negative aspects of it, I would like to bring up an incident where I was stuck in Delhi on a Diwali night on my return from Nepal and thanks to good ole Royal Nepal Airlines delivering my baggage late I missed my connection to Bangalore. And there I was all alone and a stranger in Delhi with the next available only early next morning. Well I somehow managed to contact a friend but unfortunately he was not in town and asked me to go over to Vasanth Vihar and as soon as I made it there. Adi calls and says "You bugger you are in Delhi and you dont contact me, Well I come to where you are and pick you up",he aparently heard from another friend of mine in Bangalore who knew I was stuck and was ina bit of situation on MSN and so he does land up in twenty mins with a rollie all done and took me back to his place and sorted with a comfy place to chill some smoke great company and played me some killah music and dropped to a cab back to the Airport early next mornin.. Oh yea and a drive around South Delhi on a Diwali nite  .. Thanks Man Adi!
That for me is a great personality guys and great friend who was there for me when I needed and I did nt even contact him for help! And there he was. plus he makes music that can bring roofs down. And those of you who hate his guts I am sure you guys rubbed him the wrong way and got one of his shrapish one liners and hate him for bein too smart for you!

Please stop making fun of my integrity. I have been an honest, incorruptible isra user for years, not supporting music downloading, not abusing the mods, not taking sides, and simply reading your myriad posts, that deserves the lol and rofl smileys more often than not.. and having said that - I am what i am, and do not want to be what i am not. I feel there is no use of Indian section and being moderated just because of these posts ONLY.
it should rather be locked permanently as we might not really get a collective approach, the unity, the Love , Respect, and obviously peace while reading such thoughts spread by our beloved fellow friends,
or may be we all have a race against time and good life.
the anger, the hatred, the pollution in minds , the energy we are spreading, is so quantum that we just cannot get saved by the rising temperature or by the thoughts governing us.
I just wish the whole world spread the message of humanity right away or may be in the new era ,

there is no need for moderation. these things are good in the long run. it is just a little cross-section of the real world at large. not everyone is positive or negative, not everyone sees the same things as others. even though i don't particularly like my friends getting insulted, i DO like seeing my friends friends stand up and say nice things about them. these kinds of threads really do fit the topic of this thread.
we have evolved enough by now to know that it is not all plur and all of that. as humans, we need to deal with each other no matter what, whether in the real world or this virtual one.
PLUS... if this drama had not come up, i wouldn't have gotten to hear the nice story that aCIDISGOD told
