one thing about mexico is that it is very hard for them to get access into the states. Visa's are almost harder to get for Mexicans than it is for Russians or Europeans, especially if there are any *marks* on their government record.
a couple artists we know from down there have been banned by America permanently and can never cross in their lifetime due to a prior arrest record from many years ago.
This person has a unique case from before they were a musician, but still, it just shows how hard they look at your file in customs when trying to cross the Mexico/USA border from their side.
We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.

Oops I am not sure how I bungled that last post, but what I meant to say was:
"A lot of headliner acts I know on this side of the pond ask for 300-600 euros for a booking here."

I dunno if all mexican artists would be cheaper.
Kashyyyk was asking $1000 for a booking fee when I asked him about a month ago.

Is that a lot for an international producer of his talent? I bet a lot of European producers with as much released work as him would charge a lot more; and the plane tix will be a lot more expensive.
But I have never organized an event, so I really don't know much...
