who have a mode machines x0xb0x tb-303 Clone?better than audiorealism of d16 phoscyon?

All is in the tittle , i am looking for analog hardware for my christmas  .
I am making oldskool and I want to see your opion about the xobox if it's a real good alternative?
beacause find a real roland TB-303 is very difficult and expensive today!

I have the x0xb0x and its the closest thing to the TB-303.
I haven't used Audiorealism on phoscyon so I can't comment on them.

audiorealism is awesome (gets the accents right) and phoscyon just has a wicked tone, but the analogy squelching, quacky, blippy richness of the original 303 can only be found in hardware, like the x0xb0x.
if you really want that sound and hands-on tweakability, i say do it!
i don't focus my music around the 303, so audiorealism works just fine for when i need the odd acid line.

I have a xox with the io mods. It was loads of fun. It did have a small amount of small issues like a lot of analog stuff does. But it was great.
I got rid of it because we had another baby. I miss it. Maybe I'll get another some day. |
