I've been following this site for a year now and this is my first posting. I've come across many posts where people are thanking other users for their comments, suggestions, queries, complaints and some are even promoting themselves. I've also seen some people utilize the resources available and generate some productive wicked shit.
well me being a newbie i just want to get inspired and want to know who has actually made it. If u could explain the process involved how (tedious/challenging) it was would certainly help...

But there is really a lot of awesome inside information on this forum that will save you countless hours of trail and error if you are a noob.
Many famous artist share their hard working knowledge here for benefit of all.

Depends what you mean by "make it big" I guess.
In the psytrance scene, to "make it big" (imo) means "gets a fair amount of festival/international bookings".
If you mean "got rich", then probably nobody  |

I still see some blue names asking very basic questions and dont have a clue about some very simple things.. just because you have made a release wont make you know everything, and really without meaning anything about it.. just that we all decide when we are ready or maybe others decide it
Still nowdays this scene is pretty full of releasing artists, many generics and many copycats, very few really making something innovative or groundbreaking, and production is a place where lots of improvement can be done... there is still room for new talents and innovation.. so hope is not gone even if it feels like we have a million artists all fighting for the same space..

Nobody "makes it" in Psytrance in the states we make friends and fly each other around the states, that it.
Internationaly is where you can make real money if your booked for the 1000+ people festies all the time but thats about it. you have to be live'in out of the states most of the time to get into this scene also.

i've got to ask you people how is the trance scene where you live? in Israel it's quite big i would say. it's underground but big underground scene. i heard that in europe the psytrance scene id dying..is it true? |

i would say it reborn slowly in france ,but the best days are something of the past imo,young dont listen much psytrance and my generation have been used to hear live act like transwave, kox box,total eclipse,prana,hallucinogen ,x dream,cydonia... in killer location with killer crowd so a lot left the scene ,after 97/98 the parties were not as good and since that it s half dead |
