Hey man, i dont like that bpm (180) either and i can clearly say that i also want it out of psytrance dancefloors except for some very rare exceptions like there are exceptions in slower songs. Really most of the music made on that bpm(180) isn't good even in quality standards. That's another emerging vertent the one that comes from hardcore. And no, it has nothing to do with any psytrance and i am not scared of saying it. And also, NO it was not the default bpm playing on last boom, most of the stuff that played there(even the night stuff) were way slower. I can say this because even though i have not been there i know the bands that played there and i know people who were there. Still antix has alot of psytrance background, for me it's a great artist, undeniably it's perfectly suitable to play in boom, for whatever style they want to define his music. Any music capable of coming on the MTV commercials or videoclips, forget about it, i just dont agree with it and i never will. It's just that! But it's ok for me it's just an opinion friend, don't make too much case of it, because i am sure the organizers wont either, they'll just put whatever they think it's better.
