i get
a) white noise random
b) brown noise random walk (i.e) either one grad up or down from previous instant
c) pink noise, somewhere between the two but how??? any offers...

the entire spectrum , and the "moods" they create, seems to be at:
http://www.ptpart.co.uk/colors.htm

so maybe if you know about the "moods" this will help production!
