Well it depends, if they like "Club Trance" or UK trance (Tiesto style) then indeed yahel is your approach.
if they come form the Digweed-Sasha school of progressive then Space safari (as wel as most of the free form material) Sunset, and of course the new stuff from Mark Allen and Tim Healey.

it all depends on their definition of house but generally dont play anything too monotone, it will kill the party .
i've been asked to play for friends a few times and at the times i did play i warmed up with progressive house but only the hot groovy tunes with enough melody not to bore anyone
examples :
Wekend world - The world
Minilogue - Deep Motions (Original)
Piece Process - Adrenalin (Weekend World Rmx)
Lastmanstanding - Nothin' (Interstella Rmx)
Private Taste - First (Ashtrax Remix)
Depeche Mode - I Feel Loved (Danny Tenaglia's Mix)
Troja - Joy
Spincycle - Coin-Op
Allen And Healey - Buzzing
Southern Comforter - Another Late Thursday (Spincycle Remix)
there's newer stuff but this will work...
and moved to trance/house crossover things that Zombie wrote work great, guaranteed, plus Automatic Rec, Transient and so on
if not then hit them with the cheese....Tiesto, people love him for some strange reason .

Day and Night 2xCD compilation from Transient is nice crossover compilation.
With tracks from Logic Bomb, Wizzy noise and Tim Healy/Mark Allen.
The Compilation is compiled by Mark Allen and Greg Lunar.
Very recommended!

thanks all of you guys !
i took some of your advices , but the only connection between the ppl in that party to ANY kind of electronic music , was only club trance , yahel and light IM stuff .... astrix - kali (jaia rmx) was 'too heavy'...
the party rocked when they heard IM & berry - birthday , and ppl came to me and asked for more
berry (without IM !)
but above all , i got some new directions in music thanks to your opinions... so 10x again !~
