Thanks for the answers everyone, i am very thankful.
I think i'm gonna go for Zebra. Like -aeon- & psylevation said, if you wanna spend much time learning a synth and grow with it, choose zebra, and thats exactly what i wanna do.
But i guess i'll learn them both sooner or later, but i'll start with Zebra for now. I will become one with it

I have not used sylenth, but Zebra I have nothing but good words for. Its sound is very good, not because it sounds close to an analog synth. It is quite digital sounding, but a really good digital synth.
The programability is fantastic.

The thing is, Zebra can be as easy or as complicated as you want. You create the modules you need for a patch, its not like there are 10s of modules you have patch in to get a sound out.

well technically speaking if you learn zebra it will be better because of its complexity , which is only to the eye in my opinion.. If you understand the modularity of it any synth will be easy after that...
Sonically they are both sound. Sylenth a bit phatter though.

yeah Sylenth as got a bigger sound no doubt it is easier to program and its is more dance orientated if you consider the soundbank that comes with it. In all that's my synth number one! Just got the zebra interesting, very good sounding but it looks complicated. So unless you are a good sound designer I wouldnt go for this... I'd learn a simpler synth inside out first |

i like more zebra 2 but it s harder to program (sylenth1 is easy to make some good sounding patch, zebra need more work but it worth it in the end imo)
choose the one that sound the best to you. |
