I started with a DOS tracker named AXS it was the first one to have analog synth emulation and it had built in sampler and sequencer. My first trance tunes came from Rebirth though. The first one with Tr-808 emulation. I didn't sleep nights because of this baby.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

very true...........rebirth "propelled" me forward to make tunes...............lets face it, the guys at propellerhead just revolutionized the music scene!

i also had 2 other software called RubberDuck & Drumstation at about the same time....very good softwares........were they before or after rebirth?

Well.. I started using Acid loops with frutty loops and reason. But the sound quality is very low.. I cant understand how Shiva Shidapo build their music with it!!!
But now im more happy with Logik 5.5, and his algorythm conversions. It sounds more powerfull !
But my quest is the harware.. Good compressions, spectral equalizers and Good f**king synths
Have a nice time making what you belive

It was not software that started the electronic music revolution, it was the Roland TB-303.           A digital waveform is nothing more than an imperfect representation of the perfect analogue one.

yes Anakoluth, there was music before 1982, but the 303 gave birth to acid house, that is were it all started.           A digital waveform is nothing more than an imperfect representation of the perfect analogue one.

VCO i think that the real boom was when MIDI was discovered and That day on a person alone could build up the all track..
Now a days all the sequencer or even virtual synth are all based in midi controlers..

Electronic music revolution started when
Leon Thermin invented the first "Thermin" ,
the first midi sequencing software was "Pro24"
that later split up to Steinberg and Emagic ,
bla bla bla . . .
My personal music revolution started from ReBirth,
Cubase3.5 and Macintosh 7100/80 .

I've seen documentary once about MIDI and electronic music. With interviews with Carl Steinberg and a lot of pioneering artists. Nice program           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

          experiment !
make it your motto day and night.
experiment,
and it will lead you to the light.
the apple on the top of the tree
is never too high to achieve,
so take an example from eve...
