Backups, mate, backups. Since I discovered Autosave I've never lost more than 10 minutes of work.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

I just use the sequential saving option (press CTRL + ALT + S to create a savefile with an increasing number as "track_01" etc.), guess I was a bit lazy yesterday

could be kinda neat in combination with autosave (always thought I wouldnt need that) though.

I use both... sequential backups are very useful if you need to go back to a previous version of a particular sound, while Autosave means you never have to worry about losing too much work if the program hangs. I also have a folder track at the bottom of the arrangement called 'Bounced Down' where I keep all the MIDI tracks and I'm not using any more, and any audio tracks that get bounced with effects.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

hehe, funny, that's _exactly_ what I do, I don't throw away a single note in the whole process of producing, there's enough room on my harddisks
I always think "maybe I'll need it later" and quite often I do.

Narcosis: IT ppl consider data that is not back uped as deleted...they know why
