I like almost all of them

My favorite is probably the "techy" pattern: 16th note closed hihat and open hihat on the offbeat, with or without snare. Almost any bassline pattern works with it.

My least favorite is probably kbbb with a really generic sounding cymbal on the offbeat and nothing else. wanky darktrance artists love to copypaste this through their whole track and then spend way too much time working on their leads.

Like! Anything wide and shuffled enough!
Dislike! Anything above 130bpm, especially out of tune chainsaw music and hamburg'ish offbeat "trance".

Unique combinations of hi hats, mixed hi hats put togheter is nice. Perhaps some cool effect on some parts with effectrix or something similiar.

Reversed snares or claps.

Big reverbish impacts

Drones , nice atmosphere.

Congos , spiced up with some nice effects on them.

Cats in the blender I think was the term coined by somebody after the Doof festival.
I can't take the credit for it           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Really? there's nothing? what about a broken beat?

dislike:cheesy typical closedhatOpenhatclosedhatOpenhat and prominent highs, claps also most times but can work if done right
