I think a lot of the Israeli Psy artwork of 5-10 years ago was just not appealing to the Western Europe market.
e.g. Elysium -Monzoon (BNE) - I'm not picking on them it was the first CD I pulled out - yeah it looks quite trippy and 'psy' but your average trance listener in UK frinstance is going to overlook that in favour of something with a bolder logo more in the UK style e.g. positiva or perfecto.
There has been a VAST improvement in artwork from Israeli labels the last few years. |
