I got Maudio BX5, they are very good speakers, actually, better than the others you mentioned, it lacks some bass, but if you add a nice subwoofer that Maudio provide, you will have a super nice setup, actually, BT, one of the best electronic producers around uses BX5 for his surround system and monitoring.

If these three are your only choices because of your budget, then i'd suggest the Alesis since they have bigger woofer and their base response is deeper, which is very important in electronic music(and any kind of music basically).
Another budget option would be the Beringer Truth 2031A, although from the majority of the people you'll hear a big "NO WAY". But for their money, you get much more than what they cost.
And a level higher would also be the Yamaha HS-80M.
A friend told me once that the biggest mistake we make is that we believe we live, when in reality we are sleeping in the waiting room of life. |

Monitors are a personal choice....you cant stand here and say one is better than the other...
I would go with the Alesis Mk's , cos i have a pair and i like them
only way you can decide is by actually listening to them...dont be a tard and go by specs....cos often, especially with the freq respinse curves, you are never comparing apples with apples, since each company with test the freq. response under different conditions...so best to take some good music you like to a music store and get them to let you hear it thru each monitor....asking us here to tell you which is better, is a waste of your time! |

they are good monitors if u judge them around hifi speakers but they are very mediocre if u judge them between monitors!
i had bx8 and they where realy tricky to mix on them! but its worse when u mix in hifi speakers! good monitors usualy cost always more than 1000euros!

Funnily enough...
i have this pair of really crappy cheap computer speakers...nasty little things...
and sometimes i switch off my truths (my current monitors) and i mix on the computer speakers.... cos they are as shit as it gets....
then switch to studio monitors and i can judge the result....
its a good exercise, or do it vice versa., also get some cheapish hifi speakers and send your mix thru there to judge/...
if you get it sounding right on their your sorted imo |

Just because BT uses them,...does not mean they are better than the other monitors listed in this thread |
