I am bulding a DAW but I'm confused which mobo should I choose...
875 OR 915...
or should I go the AMD way
and which graphics card should I buy, MATROX G550 or any other .. I got M-AUDIO AUDIOPHILE 2496 and Radium 49... such that neither these should have any conflicts with any config...

AMD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are better then the intel ones because they can calculate longer numbers (and you know, all of the music create need's a lot of calculation's that the computer does) so it's stronger then the intel ones.
and for the graphic card you can buy the ATI Readon 9600 pro or any other ATI graphic card's they got the DVI out and it's comes with connector between the DVI output to VGA (as like as the screen need's) so you can use dual screen's.
i hope for you that you took 1024mb ddr 400.

Calculate longer numbers? Please know what you're talking about before you say stuff like that.
There are plenty of reasons to use one processor over another, but this is not one of them. |
