Hy,as a visual artist i have several points that I'd like to have your opinion .

What are the visuals you enjoy more to see at a party .My question is about stiles(Video, animations, realistic, figurative)not names of , videos or artist ..

Do you really care (and feel difference) when visuals are mixed on live(vj)??

As in the city where I live there´s only a few psicho events per year I ussualy VJ
PSY Visuals at techno, and breakbeat partys.
People at this party´s seem´s to like them,
but sometimes I feel like this partys are not the place for psy visuals
What do you think about that?

I´ll wait your answers ,thanks

Hey there, bako.

My favorite visual style is smooth 3d visuals combined with motion and movements.
I like the combination of 3d's object flying around the screens,
With backgrounds of visual-movement (animation or real video),
- Kind of chrome-key/luma mixing.
I like when the vj plays with this 3d object on the music beat, in and out / change and distort…

I would like to see strong and psychedelic images, texts, characters and photos, - all twists of hue or color corrector - to highlights or just burn the screens.
-
I would like to see every object in the screen, moves, changes and reacts to the music beat…
(by bass, mid, treble, delay or any other audio effects…).
– synchronized is the key word…

---
I want to be swallowed between the gap of the audio-visual / chemical experience…
---

And yes – it is relay matter to me - if it is a LIVE visual set…

Respect to all…

hy there vj purple,

I Totally agree ,the key fact in visuals is sinchronisation,

I like very much 3d mandalas around the screen,I also like psychodelich cartoon(characters) interacting with video backdrops.

About the effects, personally I dont like them to be evident ,and also try to be sure wich effect has nice combination with each video .

By the way ,just a word about your web AWESOME

Hey! It’s nice to see that some VJ’s think the same way
100% agree with you guys.

When my body is in trance following the beat, I like to see, a full wild unusual colours bumping my eyes out on beat with smooth variation and a great 3D motion, or character tripping out on the next high sound level. A 3D stuff moving on real time and, following the break beat and break sound.

I like to see intelligent visuals moving during the night and taking me into a deep virtual word.
I like to feel the sound coming out of the screen and make me think that DJ Artist and VJ Artist are playing in only one spirit.

About the difference between mixed act and live act:
Yes I do care also cause it’s simply impossible for me to VJing like I mentioned above, with a play back mixed set.

I think the style of the visual comes naturally with the first music listening type of the VJ.
So I do think (for example) that my visuals won’t have the same impact on people who do not like the Trance as I do. And for sure the performance will be lower (in terms of quality speaking) without my special link to the trance when performing.

So fare the most powerful back drop deco I’ve ever seen, is a screen!

every world that has been said is gold pure gold .

My favorite visual style is background colors and effects that with my team mate VJ purple eye and his 3D stuff we can creats a visual trip , and invite the viewers inside .

on the beat changes and sinchronisation is the most importent thing . also trying to capture and express the vibes of the party .

as psytwin sayd " visuals moving during the night and taking me into a deep virtual word " is alweys beeter then static deco

that is our mission as i see it .

to bad party promotors wont respect it and as they say "i could play a dvd insted of booking a vj" . would they play a cd insted of booking a DJ ? ?

nice to see that the psy secne vjs got the same soul and mind concerning their visuals

with great respect

i enjoy visuals very much but unfortanly they never get used here in denmark
except for teh GoaGil paryt where liquid crystal vision made some awesome live Vj'ing

so i dont have much experience with that

but i really enjoy'd the ones on samothraki 2003 i cant remember who did them but they where awesome a nice mix of reallpictures and psychedelic animation

also the ones on voov alternative stage in 2003 was very very nice specially when theres was thos eindian dancers amd circles

i like when animals and nature are used in visuals

and yes it has to be working with the music
