I find him greatly overrated. His movies are loud and obnoxious. But that's only my opinion           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

maybe a little, but you have to consider that he directed many political and biography stuff, based on real stories which are loud by nature. i wouldnt say that he is in my tops, but i do dig his work in platoon, doors an natural bornkillers.           Signature:

With great sadness i noticed that noone mentioned the real masters of cinema but many people mentioned names like David Lynch,Tarantino,Shyamalan,Spielberg and James Cameron who are way way overrated to say the least.

Seems that Alfred Hitchcock,Michael Haneke,Krzysztof Kieslowski,Sergio Leone and David Lean are not very popular in our days.

Damn i cant believe that noone mentioned Hitchcock the master of masters.Havent you people seen Psycho,Vertigo,The Rope,Birds,Rear Window or any of his films?           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

Hitchcock is a master indeed. But imho Kubrick is way better.

Lets add up a few more:

Robert Altman
Akira Kurosawa
Roman Polanski
Ang Lee
Carlos Saura
Daany Boyle

But he continues to be an idiot.
