which is the best software to work ?

i'm working with frutiy loops, don't have any
good equipment ,what is the best software to work
with ,in order to create electronic music.
also would like to know if it's possible to work
with cubase and fruity loops togther.

Hey,
In software, i like working with Reaktor + Cubase. Reaktor is the closest thing real equipment.
As for your other question, you can export WAV files from fruity and modify them in cubase. You can also export MIDI files from fruity and use them along side with VST instruments (personally, i like Fruity's sequencer much better then Cubase's).

I've been told logic is a bit more complex, but more powerful and takes less cpu power. I guess it's a matter of taste overall. |

LOGIC is much better (IMO) than CUEBASE no matter what CPU you have.
it works (in AUDIO!)on most computers without a good sound card.

everybody knows logic's better but still more Cubase users than Logic. |

Cubase and Logic r basicly the same software (same engine). Logic is Cubase for people who dont like computers.

Logic is much better, because:
1) it is using less CPU
2) the song, even when the CPU is loaded is played without quirks[try playing a Cubase song during 50% cpuusage]
3) the GUI is much more "invested" - comparing to cubase, Logic's interface is an artwork in itself.
4) Logic has "Environment" - a complete setup of the program for the current song - number of midi/audio channels/busses etc. is saved there, so
u can load the computer exactly how you want.
5) Logic supports more hardware devices [via SoundDiver] and their editing is more easy
6) Logic 4.7 and up Supports ASIO, both VST and DirectX , Rewire, so you can do anything you do in cubase - with Logic.
7)[for Project] Logic supports surround :-)
P.S.
Logic was cracked much later than Cubase, this is why most of the people got used to Cubase.But this only proves that Cubase makers didn't work hard to protect the soft.... can you expect then that they worked hard on coding the program itself ??

I don't think I really need to bring up the fact that Cubase has had like 10 public betas ever since their releasing of Cubase 5.0 almost a year ago while Emagic continues to release updates that do what they are supposed to do and are free of bugs.. Oh wait, I just did. |
