Better THAN the Virus, or best Virus?
Ti is the best Virus.. no sysex, just save your project and it saves all the patches and settings, loads of polyphony, great sound.
Better synth? Dunno.. depends on taste. Virus is hard to beat with so many excellent sound editing options and great sound. |

As far as the sounds they produce, they are all exactly the same. Some just have more keys than the other.
Read the brochure, dude.
But yeah, for that reason it is kind of funny that they charge the same for the Polar and 61 key version... the only thing you need to consider is how much room you have in your studio and if you already have a midi controller with keys.

does a virus ti sound exactly the same like a virus c or b if you make exactly the same patch? |

hm..cannot compare to other Viruses, but the benefits of the Ti are quite logic...like way more polyphony wich causes in more complex sound possibilities ..then the Virus Control..and those Grain Osc..so if you got the money..go for it,its more future orientated..

I have the TI and the Classic... both are really good. The TI is better because of the Virus Control, but i have stumbled upon same patches from the Classic that are in the TI.

Access try to maintain backwards-compatability to a point... which is why you can load patches from a virus A onto a virus B, patches from a C onto a TI etc.
as i understand it the TI architecture is not radically different from the C, which is an evolution of the B, etc. etc... the TI just has more options, like different waveforms (hypersaw, and wavetables) extra polyphony, more mod matrix destinations, dedicated delay/reverb for every part rather than globally, etc. etc...

but only a few keys it would be nice to have one that is part-way between the full keyboard version and the polar, because it only has like half an octave.
but a white polar... with those pulsing white tempo indicator surrounding the LCD screen....
