GTN, if you've ever seen vocals being recorded in a proper studio, you must've noticed that the singer wore headphones. IMO Takaya asked a legit question, and you should to quote yourself:
"atleast think before u post such messages ..."
Can't answer your question, Takaya, but I suggest you look around here for hi-quality headphones:

cmon shroomy , i been to the studio dozens of times and also seen vocals getting recorded as i myself am a singer and sound engg, as well ...
and there has never been any such issuse abt headphones while recording ....
and one would be lame enough if it takes him a whole day to record his vocals ...
and how could he say , headphones meant only for recording n not vocals ???
abslutely lame man .... |

GTN What's happen to your attitude? r u on switching superglue(as we already missed him for a long time - )
don't be a lame judge and let peoples ask the naive questions so we can maybe help them,
and i think that if it takes you one day to record your vocals it also can be because you are a perfectionist
beside it- takaya maybe you need to check out the stores so you can hear your favorite sounds and compare it with every headphones.
i'm not such a pro in headphones but i think that one of the AKG or Audio Technica models can do your work.
peace all

It´s obvious, that you need a closed ear-cup phones so that no audio will escape to the microphone while recording.
In most studios I see the AKG k270 series - closed and firm - great for vocal recording.

Exactly.. extra important if the singer has a weak voice, so you have to add extra gain at the console.. I've seen some cases of feedback caused by this, and it will be pretty painful for the singer..
So, the less leakage the better.. |

maybe takaya wants do it a bit more professional than you did.
and headphones are a must for recording your voice (monitoring your own voice...the voice sounds different as it leaves your mouth than YOU personally hear it).
be a bit nicer to people.

GTN.... Hmm Listen here "hon"... I think you should take a turn down to the Chill-out camp. Of course there are made some headphones for vocal. The same as there are made for mixing and just for discmen. And i did'nt say there was only 1 kinda headphones. People that is recording them selves must know what they think is the best and that was my question, so seriously if you wanna start a big argument, start your own link!
For Trip and Ulf Shrromy and Input, Thank you very much for your help and nice and chilled attitude
And for Pavel. Hmm maybe i am a boy all underneeth Who knows hahaha
GTN - I ask to get to get answers, NOT CRAP. Chill out and love you'r music!
Peace people and thank you!
