Please stop the insanity, that is like saying: Let's remix Flesh from A-Split Second he he Or Remixing or Basic Gravity - Rajah aaahhhhhh Hold on What about old old Eternal Basement ? God forgive we would remix any of Emmanuel Top tracks. Naaah I like it straight and deep from that creative soul in this particular moment in time. Organic Psy trance please.
Oh no Did Orion Remixed "Everybody Dance Now" from C+C MUsic Factory... Am I in a parallel universe... Or Is this hell. |

i really understood it was being asked wich trance track to hear rmxed!
this may sound naive but i'd go for koxboxs stratosfear... even if existing already 2 or 3 rmxs, i'd like to see those 2 working that track for a todays dancefloor! |

but hey "clown" i go with the DK tip and ask for a nazi punks remix!
The fact that no one understands you doesn't make you an artist:. |

Did you know that the British composer Mike Batt was actually sued by the estate of John Cage for doing a 'cover version' of that track! He settled out of count for a 6 figure sum!

"Mine is a much better silent piece. I have been able to say in one minute what Cage could only say in four minutes and 33 seconds."
|
| That's mental!! Even though I actually quite like the idea of Cage's concept; when I was at uni our professor said we should close our eyes for the four and a half minutes and listen to all the sounds around us because nothing is ever silent - everything is musical. I thought that was quite a magical approach actually. But to copyright and sue for it?
Anyway, on topic - I like the idea of Pink Floyd being remixes into something trancey, for sure. But then they've already been 'done' in dub so...bit old perhaps. There are a couple of really atmospheric tracks on the first This Mortal Coil album that I also think could translate well and Vangelis has soooo much trance/psychedelic potential IMHO. The Blade Runner album is gorgeous XX |
