the only really standard plug is a parametric eq.
the rest are just user preferable.

I will keep this in mind!

Do not expect too much here. This kind of question is often here.

I heard your mixes but only with laptop speakers so far,but the composition is very good imo.

Keep at it Soul's Alien.Good tracks.

also aux send - for what .
If you dont want to replace your sound with an effect but add an effect to the sound than use aux send.
That's it.
So delay and reverb makes big sense mostly.

Thank you TimeTraveller. I really appreciate your reply.
I will try to apply this theory more accurate and soon I get new track running I will post here!

You should learn what all the FX do/how to use them. Then it will become apparent to you, which effect you NEED for this and WANT for that, depending on the situation. The only thing you*ll probably always want is a channel with a highpass-filter (around 20-30Hz) or something similiar. You can route everything else through this channel to keep your low end clean. It*s also useful to have several delays (long/short, whatever),phaser, flanger on your send channels, but how/if you use them is your artistic "responsibilty"

Whats up with "Kamikaze Cells *new*" which has the bass and kick in the left speaker only and open hat in the right speaker, some kind of beatles mixing going on? also the track "Cirque du Freak" which has bass and kick in the right speaker??

EXPERIMENTING!!

Just go experiment and be sound wise

Hi Freeflow,

As you noticed I've had this "little" problem with this two tracks (kamikaze cells & cirque du freak) .
I left the bass and kick at the dead center but it still sounded more on the left speaker specially at the begin of the track.
I think this happened after I used ozone VST for the mastering process. I need to go bck and see where I went wrong. Which I will.

I played these tracks in a festival and I didn't notice much difference. Luckly!!

To be honest I can't trust much on my monitors (MS16), so I use more the headphones (DT 770 PRO). This may be the result of wrong panning. Do you think so?

PAN - I have this big picture in my head about the panning process and the basic setup I guess I know quite well. Always I try to keep lot of attention for this part. Specially for the other sounds around the dead center kick and bass. I think your explanation will save me lot of time. so I will give it a deep read and try to apply it into my new tracks.
_

EQ - I always remove the low end from all tracks apart of my bass and kick. So the others elements won't fight with them both.
Sometimes I get confused when I should use parametric EQ or the standard EQ. As "orange" mentioned early the parametric EQ is a standard plug. So what do say about it? I'm pretty sure both is quite similar, but with parametric EQ I get more control of the frequency. Isn't?
_

Mono/Stereo - Both of my last tracks I used stereo sounds and I don't "see" much difference on the end result. But going through books and forum people say the mono file is better to give the sound more life at the end.
You mention the mono sound is better for you! And now I wonder if you recomend the use of mono sounds not only for the size matter but for the end result? Is that get the master out any better?

Signal chain - I notice here as I always thought, the signal chain is up to the mixing producer to use the right effect to the right sounds and there is not rules when it came to chaining effects.
So I'll carry on experimenting and trying to master this part and see where I can get and what more I can learn.
_

My doubts were answered and clarified!

the basic for me would be a parametric eq, compressor and auto filter on each track, the compressor i use according to the track needs.

As others said there is no magic recipe for what you're asking, its a matter of practising and finding out yourself. As for sends couple of delays and couple of reverbs should be standard, and in my case i also use a camel phat 3 aswel, perfect to use on drums
