no,no, just kidding. i don't want this to be a MOTHER thread, i just wanna ask one, ehm, simple question.
which are the most cpu-friendly software compressors u know and recomment?
i use Waves C-1, and i'd like u to recomment compressors that i may use, if not the same, at least similar results to this one
i dont render to audio much channels because it comes more handy to me when i have the full midi information of each vsti/dxi, so C1 is not so proper existing more than 10-15 times in the same project (with much of other fx parent, too).

I recommend you to use the Compressor that comes with Cubase in the Dynamics section, to all the tracks that need simple compression.

Are the ones i use the most. I would really like to get a UAD-1 card for its compression plugins. I tend not to use the plugins that spare the most CPU, rather use the plugin that gets the sound to my liking, then mix down when i am sure its final.
