i think alot of artists use FL to produce music.. its not a bad thing i think.. but then again, alot of artists might use FL, but say they use another, more proffesional program..

Music isn't about standard, its about creativness.. use what you feel as long as you get it to sound the way you want it to..           "VA - REWIRED" OUT NOW !! (techtrance invasion) ---> http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/86303/forum/9

Gil does use FL studio for production...

Honestly, it doesn't really matter what you use as long as it sounds good and it makes people dance.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

I've been playing aorund for about 4 years wtih FL and I love it... yes it might not be as technical as Cubase and other so called Pro musician applications, but it allows the user to produce music at little cost and you can spend more on hardware... I have also found FL to be great for playing live... it's perfect for starting out and I find it is perfect for minimal and progressive sounds...

you can fix the input thingy with a midi-mixer (hardware or software).

midi sincronization is a question of configuration, nthing else...           roll a joint or STFU :)

There are a lot artists: Atma, SattleBattle/Tsabeat, Texas Fagott, Squaremeat are just some few i remember at the moment.

every software has some good and some bad points. imo FL is for non-musicians. it's a simple drag'n'drop aplication and you don't have 2 have any musical knoweledge 2 build the track. cubase requires a lot of technical knoweledge... maybe 2 much for musicians but it's ideal for sound design. reason is great for ppl who like 2 spend hours backpatchin' devices and playing with CV. ableton live has extremly nice workflow and also drag'n'drop logic. pro tools are a league of their own.

but bottom line is... every producer should use the most confortable software. more confortable you are during work - the better your expression will be. when you fight with software it's hard 2 be creative.           "It occurred to me by intuition, and music was the driving force behind that intuition.
