Hard to nail it down. If I had to randomly pick 10 to keep me company on a dessert island in no ranked order...
Future Sound of London - Dirty Shadows
Loscil - Cloister
Cell - Second Shape Part II (New, but I feel this will be a consistent favorite for years to come.)
Androcell - Fungus Garden
Adham Shaikh - Emergence
Coil - Queens of the Circulating Library (This track literally bends time)
Coil - The Sea Priestess
O Yuki Conjugate - Ascension
Capsula - I Know That I Know
Chronos - Achronon
Really though, I own and enjoy so much music from so many different genres of "ambient/chill", I'd be hard pressed to limit it to 100.

ooooh.. i like this one; even though mission impossible to answer without sounding like an arse - allow me to compose the following ambioso drink (you pay!):
lets start of with a little abakus.. every chillout drink should have a touch of this. then add some twisted flavour. let lauge stir it with some bluetech and androcell. cell. as a safety precaution - turn on the tripswitch. we also need margarita. hardcore drinkers add klopfgeister and aes dana; and if you want to get really wasted, top it off with some kukan dub lagan. this is the perfect drink for all carbon based lifeforms.
and what do you call it? it is called a solar fields.
happy holidays fellas;)

That drink tastes really good Great stuff
Of course it`s like many are at the same level or is
an expression of the exact same thing. And one also change the taste constantly, but often there are some special tracks that one remember and that one used to listen extra alot to and listens alot to now.
Often one does not mean any special order since many feels like they are equal
a couple of more gems:
Zero cult-Electro wind
Aphex twin-Stone in focus
Bluetech-Alchemie dub
Etnica-Deep east
Carbon based lifeforms-Photosynthesis
Anahata- IX Chel
Menog-We ask better questions
Chronos-Step by step
Ra-Light receiver
Khetzal-Avisari
