not too much in houston that i know of...
one of our djs lives down there, and from what i know there is no psy scene.

well, most of the psy in texas is centered around the dallas/fort worth area, though it is picking back up in austin thanks to a new crew - shiva shakti. unfortunately, texaliens have been rather inactive for the past few years ever since krelm moved to germany...

kinda suprising that the biggest state has a negligible scene, although politically standing it makes sense...Conservative to the core.

I had an incredible time in Austin when I played there back in August... Hopefully in the not too distant future, I can return there for a second helping of the Lone Star State...

sadly there isn't anything psy in houston, but we here in Austin and Dallas try to get our timely dose as ordered by the doctor.
The sgoa list would be the best place to sign on to keep up with the events, which are not as often as we would like unfortunately, but there's usually something happening every month or two.

Eric also took off to Boston shortly after I escaped....er....moved across the pond.  Then Adrian moved to Houston, leaving Steve as the only reminent of the Texaliens in Austin.
Although, Steve has indicated that he is getting the itch once again to throw some kind of small party. So you might see a return (of sorts) of the Texaliens to the Austin psy-scape sometime in spring - at least one of us.

Wynnde,
As people mentiones earlier, there are some small parties here and there...in DFW and Austin. But if you are looking for a big 2-3 days party, my suggestions is to look for parties in Mexico. Personally, I never went to Mexico for a party yet, but some of my friedns did go and came back extremely satisfied. I'm pretty sure there are lots of reviews and pics on the net.
