well -

1. mood of a section mimics emotion of a human voice.

make an angry sounding mood to sound like like an angry voice.
imagine an angelic mood like an angelic voice.

ALSO

2. mood of a section mimics emotion of human movement

make a hurried sounding mood to sound like a sprint

imagine a sexy mood and imagine a dance with a lot of butt shaking.
imagine a driven mood and imagine a locomotive i.e. up slow down fast. Its all in the groove.

3. The minor major harmonic ethnic chord thing gives a sense of nationalism (western, arabic, eastern...), but can also be used to make the mood dissonant and crazy like, depending on the combination with the previous two points.

If compared to a human body
Harmony/melody is like the muscles and skin
but rhythm is like the skeleton
both are important. either being neglected will make for bad form.

I don't think it matters to people on a trippin substance what key the music is in.

As I think none of the emotions associated with certain scales will come up, by listening to the music under influence.
