I think as far as sheer number of fans and people at parties, Mexico City is biggest...

Biggest doesn't mean best though... Usually it means closer to the opposite...

Hi Sektor,
I was wondering where you got that comment about neonazis and trance music from and because I believe it is neither true not funny,
I did a google on 'neonazi trance music' and all I could find was positiv connections.
For example: "One neo-Nazi magazine even hailed trance Techno as proper German music."

But as Insomniac said, let's not "make this topic into a political or idealistic issue".

I think it really doesn't matter, where the biggest scene is, but what people make of it.
Maybe the question should be:
"Where can you have the biggest fun in the world?"

Depeche Mode is not music for the masses.

And not every music for the masses is bad music.

Anyway i think that the biggest scene at the moment (in terms of numbers and just that) has to be in Japan.I mean people go to parties, buy original music and stuff like that.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

Oh my god! German Neo Nazies, OMFG dude! I wonder where yu heard that one from. I heard somewhere that Jewish Ortodox call psytrance the music of the evil christians, did yu hear this one aswell?

I said Tokyo/Japan before but now that I think about it I'll switch it to UK

a) There are around 800 israel users here, well sekro666, guess what, there are 5104 registered users @ psyforum uk and for real 99% of them are brittons.

b) Twisted, Tipworld, Alchemy, Dragonfly, Flying Rhino, Kagdila, Liquid Sound Design.. to name just a few

c) In the UK artists still create psytrance, not full on, not progressive, just simply psychedelic music

When it comes to meaningless statistics: our belgian psytrance forum has over 1064 unique registered visitors during the last month...and a total of 2700 resistered users and you probably haven't ever even heard of us

imho internet sites do not represent the global psytrance scene correctly at all.          www.psytracks.com :: Brand new website for sharing your psytracks with the world. Get a free 250Mb Artist profile, Blog and events calender!
www.psygarden.be :: Upload your psychedelic art and partypictures to our gallery!

Very true indeed. Sweden has a lot of trance-communities with thousands of users, mainly because of the big spread of wide internetconnections here. But that doesn't give a fair view of how many real trance-listeners there are. I mean, many of my friends are not on the internet at all.

someone said Belgium has the biggest psy scene
I Hope they were joking

I'm pretty sure Japan has the biggest parties... and quite fequently.... and the scene there is pretty financially backed up...

Israel probably has the highest % percentage of people into trance... and most artists.

what about Brazil? I heard they have really big parties?           www.facebook.com/DjJanux

Ever heard of Romanian Trance Sceen ? hehe

Is one of the smallest Trance sceen in Europe, but it has for shure the best vibe. Remember "Transylvanian Calling 2004". No need for other comments.
