I am with Rik and KakoOlalaJwal on this one.

And with statistis in general: never forget to consider, who made the statistic and for what reason.

Most users are from Israel here for sure.
If you look on the chaishop site, you'll find 214 Events in Germany. Isreal is not even listed.

Actually i think that as you say if by crowd then its definately Japan, if by music then its definately Israel...And when you say you do not have nothing at least give us trance scene what do you mean? Because for me having so much of a great music in your country is really something special here i live in one of the smallest countries on earth and still i feel that the music we play over here is of a much much better level than the FMF 2004 festival for example. When we come down to music its difficult to state which is the biggest trance scene cause its not how big but how good!

Boom i respect and love every single nationality there is no difference for me!           Your sound, is your music, is your soul keep them all on the right track!

It definately is a global scene i would not imagine a trance party without people from all over the world. That's one of the things that makes it special!

if you have a look in the chaishop party-list, for example you will realize that there are by far most parties listed for germany!

and only the voov festival itself had already 15000 people this year.

and there are a lot more big events there every week.

The biggest trance scene. Does it matter? Of course it matters if you want to see your favorite artists at a party. The bigger the scene the more possiblities. I've never been to Israel but by all descriptions it has the most "overground" scene. You would think that it permeates the culture more. In the U.S., our numbers aren't tiny but they're so spread out and so uncommerical that is a bonafide underground scene. I betcha there are more people into Glitch music than Psytrance, here. There isn't much high-distribution press that covers Psytrance, anywhere.

Is there any other place in the world where you can go to a trance festival with Pepsi and Levi's corporate sponsorship? I know Israel must have lots of great small gatherings but they also the corporate thing too.

It seems to me that Chaishop, a German site, would list more Deutschestranceparties, and vicinity, than perhaps more distant countries. Diligent prompters list on their site including our crew from Philadelphia.

have a nice day ;^>

It has to be my home. I live alone, so it makes 100%.
Blacklight on the living room, backdrops, puffs to sit on, pillows, cdjs for everyone who feels like playing, sound pumping every night, after-parties every sunday afternoon...

Now seriously...
Bigger doesn't make it better. And i don't think that trance (psy or prog or fullon) is nusic for the masses.

Come on dude, you don`t have to make this topic into a political or idealistic issue..
One should always be in love. That is the reason one should never marry.
