Where is the benefit CD now? And the help to the Lebanese people?

This is not a Lebanon versus israel topic!!!
I am merely asking a valid question.
When the Tsnumai disaster hit (yes I know Europeans was among the casualties) the psy community was very fast to run to it's aid and make a benefit CD and cry for those that died.
Now we see a humanitarian disaster unfold in Lebanon with figures going up to 1 million refugees. The food is almost gone, water is gone and there's very little medicine. The victims are first and mostly children. Children who WILL die if help is not put on the Ground. The major help organisations scream for our financial help.
So where are all the PLUR people now that the Lebanese people need our help?
I have decided that my new releases will go to helping Lebanese children. Its probably not much but it's a start and what i feel I have to do. I will also contact the so-called PLUR labels and artists and ask them why they did not act yet and incurrage them to do their small part just as Organic records did with the Tsunami. No matter of the way the did it and if I agreee with the music they released. At least they did something.
It's striking that a scene that have a history of throwing benefit parties toward helping the Tibetan people's fight against the occupation of Tibet stay so silent in this crisis! |

The difference between this situation and the Tsunami is that this is not a natural disaster.
Nature isn't causing death and destruction this time, PEOPLE are... and on both sides.
It's just a shame that charities can't raise intelligence instead of money.

A)This is a psy trance website not the Unicef or United Nations site,noone is obliged or expected to do something from this website concerning any disaster taking place around the world so asking where is the charity cd for the war taking place between Israel and Lebanon is at least a naive question in my humble opinion OR a tricky question since lets not forget that this is an israeli website and such a question can easily create a mess in the forum.
B)The disaster from the Tsunami effect was way different and in much bigger scale than the war taking place now between Israel and Lebanon.The Tsunami could not be predicted or prevented while the war is a result of stupid people from both sides.
C)If a label made a cd for every war or natural disaster out there then we should have a charity cd every week.I mean there are children dying everyday in Africa because of poverty and war but television just stopped showing them simply because it doesnt sell anymore unlike the war between Israel and Lebanon that is number one issue on every country of the world at the moment.60 people died today in Lebanon and people pretend to be shocked and sad and blah blah blah,sorry to inform you but 60 people die in Africa every hour but i dont see anyone shocked about this in the psy trance community.
D)When the Tsunami disaster happened it was just Organic Records that took action and not the psy trance community.Just the label,and congratulations to them about this move,and some artists and the people that bought this cd.By the way anyone has any facts and numbers concerning the sales of this cd and how much money and where were deposited?Just asking out of curiosity.
To conclude if anyone wants to do anything then just go on and do it and announce it in the forum but dont ask where is that cd or the other because like i said before this topic sounds really tricky to me.
Me i am not willing to help either side in this war since both sides have done many mistakes and its sad to see innocent people getting killed because of stupid politicians from the one side and a bunch of terrorists from the other,me i will just keep donating my money against animal cruelty because animals dont have a voice to protest on their own on television and are being killed not because of stupidity but because of human greedness and exploitation.
In the meantime lets hope that this stupid war will end soon.
