To Detox : I agree with you on some comments you made about the prog psy trance music that is also played by commercial djs worldwide.
But I have also noticed Astrix and Perplex tracks on John 00 Fleming's tops and also Sphongle (Hallucinogen) on Sasha's tops.
So IMO it is a wider phenomenon is taking place with different electronic music styles merging together making the defining boundaries less obvious than ever before.
So the quest "of what is psychedelic or not" seems to becoming gradually out of focus...better to look out for intelligent and quality dance music |

Alex like you probably know John 00 Fleming is a trance dj and not such a progressive one 
Sasha will just make a remix on Dorset Perception if i am not mistaken.
You named two people here while i can name a lot more that include tunes from Saiko Pod,Tegma,Atmos,Minilogue,Ticon and more in their sets!
I am sure you know them already anyway.
Anyway i am always in the quest of seeking intelligent and quality dance music like you said and i think thats the major point.
Ok its time for my Depeche Mode session before i go to sleep now hehe.

Just a simple question from my side.
Do we have to be happy that the house and eurotrance djs are playing tracks from tegma,psykopod,etc?
To expand our music horizons...Why do we have to feel that Sasha and Digweed and who else,are the right djs to proove to us that we are good "boys" now,and they will do the favour to us playing "trance"in their sets...
Sorry guys but i am not buying this.
I believe that all the trancers must try to define what quality is,and then they will understand the trick of the house godfathers.
They simply want to Expand their scene by adding trancers in their crouds.
And what is funny about it is that they use former trance producers and labels to do this.
Actually now that iam thinking about it it is not funny at all.They probably think that ,monroe,atmos,tegma etc have the power to do this by influencing trance ppl.
Well so simple as this...
Don't let them get away with this.

-i dunno about greece girls.. actually in my years of Psytrance parties (EVERY WEEKEND now for nearly 5yrs) -- i dont think ive met a grrl from Greece at any of the festivals here..
Plenty of Italians, Germans, Swedish, UK, Canadian, LOTS of Japanese girls..
maybe greek grrls are too busy lookin for a husband eh? and they look for them in commercial clubs, where the 'boys' drive flashy cars, and work in coporate industries?
i dunno.... its a mystery!
i hope i get to go to GREECE and party with u boy (and girls!) one day soon!!

Very very true.... Mystery indeed !! You cant imagine what you see in commercial clubs here...I wish we could only expirience the 1/10 of it in parties and festivals...
