1st_bad stuff happened 2 u greeks in thix story...
2nd_skazi and b bass, where professionals (the same happened in boom 2002, when, 2 compensate the delay in opening the fest, they didnt mind on playing 2 times in the same day....payed or not payed, the fact is that they played)
3rd_thix is 2 eternal motion, tastes and events, are 2 completly 2 different things...please don´t "mix" that...
i found their action (skazi) noble, but that doesn´t mean, in wich i´m conceorn, that i like them...
a lot of people bitchs of other artists, and u have 2 respect those opinions...
i like other artists that probably u don´t like, and all u have 2 do is respect that!
comin 2 the subject...exposing the guy who did thix can cause u into troubles...legally did he do anything wrong?
morally yes....but @ the eyes of law...only can cause u into troubles....
handle thix the most subtile has u can...just a piece of advice....well, the guy really must b a jerk!
professional u were and so was skazi...end of sentence!
ps: i like some tracks of them...

We always take everyones advices very seriusly a3k.
All the artists have our respect, and ofcourse the ppl's
taste is always our guide to organise events.
As you said we are trying to be professionals, and we don't pay attention to our personal tastes anymore.we have invited more than 25 artists since December of many kinds of trance.
But we passed through this situation with skazi, and we we were amazed by his will to fight till the end with us.
As for the jerk that call the police, well,he was the one who said that Skazi were carying drugs,so it is the police's problem to deal with him now for faulse information.
the other police dept. in charge for licence, documents, etc did their job.

well a3k as you can see in other posts in the greek forum, the question "where have the men gone"is the appropriate one for plenty other of facts taking place in our country...
Some of us are going to voov this weekend, since we are free of obligations.
Some others will probably be in boom as well, allthough the date is very close for our new party season.
Thank you for the invitation anyway, and we hope that portugal is far from this kind of shit happening here.
Have a nice summer
PEACE |

In fact I've read this topic accidentally but it is very interesting. I'm from Russia and we have similar problems here from time to time. There is real police tyranny we got here. It's very sad that in other countries such problems also exists. But it also very glad to hear that Chemical Crew guys are ready to fight this situation and you in Greece do not allow police to stop your parties as it often happens in Russia. Good luck to you all and wish you never be in the same situation. |

My distaste for skazi's music notwithstanding, this is a horrid story, which also illustrates the views of police and Border police officers in regards of DJ's and musicians - not just in trance...

This is an older topic but I really have to say this: I saw images from it in the older edition of http://www.psychedelic.gr and I have to give my dearest respect to both artists and the crowd. Best pictures I've ever seen from a party. The people were jumping, really psy-punk. I think that 'Skazi-Animal in Storm' is a great record and expect serious new stuff from them. Also would like to see them perform live once next time they do and Asher dj-set as well. Why not in Athens?
