I don't get why it has to be one or the other. Dubstep is popular because there is a vibrant active good energy scene going on.
People in the bass scene make fun of trance sure, but it's the other way around too. No one has the authority to say you need to be part of one and not the other. Say this because have seen a few Indian producers completely give up psytrance to make dubstep.
anyway, if you're looking at ages 25+ in India trance still outnumbers. If you look at ages 15+ there is no chance for trance music, Skrillex has brainwashed em all

I am not a huge fan of this style. I find the "glitch" too much for my Ears.
I even noticed it fries some people away from the dance floor at a psy gig (happened in goa for kashyyk, psykovsky)

3. If you are not on drugs den do you have drinking permit if not then drink and drive...the entire thing has gotten too much complicated

its gone commercial!!! Most of them r jus looking to make quick bucks.. we need to find better ways of contributing to artist who spend money and time on making music...not by charging fans 1000 or 1500 rs for a indoor scene!! or somethin which gets done by 12 am!!its not like ppl cant pay up the money..but the whole fun factor is gone.. So.. it has become a business which the trance boys and girls rather stay away from...but yeaa if everyone puts an effort it can get better for everyone. i am sure we all can think individually on how can we make it better..Respect always.
