since i completely fell in love with this album I decided to write a few more words on it in the music review section - http://forum.isratrance.com/james-murray-where-edges-meet/

cheers !

great words
a personal fav of ours
james is a real talent 10/10

yes he is a very talented musician indeed !

I wonder what keyboards , synths models he used on " Where Edges Meet "

I read the interview with him on the Fluid Radio site but he didn't said anything about the models.

I wonder if you know dan ?

will find out and post back here soon

No hardware synthesisers in my productions, my only outboard is controllers (Evolution UC-33e, Korg MicroKontrol, Yamaha QY10). So all the synth-like sounds are either processed audio or created using VST instruments. I've over 160 VSTs, mostly effects. Off the top of my head Atmosphere and Native Instruments FM8 and Absynth 4 are among the more regularly used softsynths. Hope this helps - James Murray           Fluid Radio

Fresh and original, this has been on a heavy rotation throughout the year and just sounds better. Love this kind of more peaceful and contemplative style at home.           http://musicandhappylife.blogspot.com/

after a long wait, i can finally comment on this one. i recently got a chance to dive deeply into this one, and it was magical.
i wasn't quite sure what to expect, based on all the reviews and comments here. you know it's going to be something special when a diverse and highly regarded group of people like we have here remark that it's interesting, fresh, unique, another level...

i think a lot of us are still digesting and assimilating this one. and i think those terms are well deserved in the best way.

very rarely does a release enchant me the way this one did... all the tracks were excellent, but the standout for me
was 'eleven'. what a monumental piece of art! no words can come close...
thanks to james and ultimae for this           "The sparrow is sorry for the peacock for the burden of its tail" -Rabindranath Tagore

this is one of the best ambient downtempo albums I have ever heard !
a real masterpiece !

it's so Good and different, impossible to define it really..
but I'll take a chance and try...

[ Where Edges Meet ] is an album made of new ambient perspectives, refreshing downtempo and futuristic electroacoustic observations.

James Murray is a real innovative talent indeed !
he is one of the pioneers of the new movement, and in my opinion most of the pioneers and innovative minds in this turf are coming from Ultimae Records, twisted Records,Aleph Zero Records and I have a feeling that the very promising new record label - Fluid Audio is going to join to these 3 very creative labels as one of the best labels out there with the best artists out there in this turf.

cheers !

In my books this is in the 'Classics' category for sure           the problem with valuing art is, till u dont understand it, it's worthless but wen u do understand it, it's priceless!!
