What kind of notes work well depends on the sound you're working with.
To get a feel for what you're doing I would recommend that you get a midi controller if u haven't already so you can actually play stuff and then use a synth which has a good presetbank such as Albino. Pick presets that you like and mess around with them and try to create melodies with them running on top of that bassline loop u made.
Things will clear up, remember that its like learning to ride a bike, except this bike takes a few years to learn to ride (at least if u have no experience) good luck bro! |
