Where do old records go to die?

I'm actually just chasing some old psytrance releases on vinyl, I haven't been collecting it long and am really interested in the history of psytrance, as well as it's future. a lot of the time (@ least here in the states) psytrance record stores will get a crate or two full of old wax that someone has dropped off to sell on consignment... this kind of thing will never be posted on anyone's website, but if you make a phone call or two to some shops you may be able to find those old gems...
if all else fails, i guess there is always ebay...
;)
