It'a all about respect... if the artists agree on releasing promo's on the internet or they post songs on mp3.com, then it's ok... but by downloading from a site called soulseek or what ever you are downloading with out the except of the artist... when you need some suger to make a cake and your out of suger, you dont just steel the suger from your neigbour, you either ask him if he has somesuger and is willing to give you some, or you go buy at a store, it's same principle here... it's nothing personal, to any one of you... it's just common sense imho...

Downloading is ok if u buy cd's..

well... with the invention of the internet its not a common sense, when u can download what ever you'd like to, with out asking nobody.
i think..... let the guy dicide what ever looks ok for him, maybe in few years he will understand the whole point of buying cd's. like it took me two years till i understood... and almost all the cd's i got, i'v already got them from the net (by downloading of course) befor ....
BUY original cd's thier sound quality is much beter... ! ! !
and if you dont got money then get a JOB !

Gumbo, i liked that what you said at the end... Guys, thank you all... I am still wondering, are you all buying all CDs you've got??? I will nevr believe that noone downloads anything anymore, you know... And the other thing is that it's impossible to buy everything. I don't buy CDs online, i usually go to my music shop in my town, and order, it is cheaper. But still! How can you know if something is good or not??? You should try to listen to it first, and then order... Because paying 20 - 25$ for something you'll throw to the garbage... And now you'll say: read messages in the forum and you'll see what is good and what's not. Everyone has different opinions. I can't base mine on someone's else. Anyway, i'm going to get a job, and BUY something new... Thx... |
