Hi All!
As u see, that's my first ever message.  I'm very new here, and i really like this forum!!!
As i'm reading all messages in different categories, i'm wondering, how do you guys find out about all this music? and most important: after i found something i want and like, how and where can i get it??? i don't know any sites, or anything, and i don't have that much money to buy every cool album i see here online... A lot of people told me that they get new releases directly from the artists. Wow! I'm so jealous, but i don't know any.  So i have no new music and no anything. Pls, help me... You can contact me on

hello there,
I've got a cd of my set recorded at live The Fridge in London, the music is more like Hard Trance....or if you go to www.liveclubbing.co.uk you can see the video clip and download the whole set at Heaven in London....look for the dj archives and select DJ Shaf De Bass....

if you want to hear more sound in future you have to buy cd´s.... otherwise all producer will stop to produce....

In one word "soulseek" - this is the best program for downloading psytrance, u can get any release new or old and even unreleased stuff with that program
just for example I've already dl from there something like 70 albums including dark soho - combustion, virus - Inside, Boo Reka - Corrupt data factory, cyber cartel and many more
I don't say that you shouldn't buy any albums in stores, I just think that artists should get their mony from festivals and parties which they are |

We understand that you want new music, dont you think that it is unfair for all the artists that spent so much time on creating music and then no one buys it because it is on the net for free, and then they dont want to produce music anymore because they get nothing out of it, and equipment is very ekspensive these days... but i understand that you want new music, then then go to Mp3.com, and when you have money to spere order some cd's... out of respect for the artists...

please don't take this personally but people like you should be banned from owning a computer...downloading, to me, is stealing and should be treated in the same way any other thief is treated. |

As I said I don't think that u shouldn't buy music at all, but by downloading music from the net u and the artists can get the folowing:
you can reach and get known about new artists and they get famous,
u can make dj sets easyer without spending hundrets of dolars on cds,
the scene will expand faster and better what I meen by that is that small and shity labels will shut down and only good psytrance will be sold out
I realy can go on on this topic but thats not the point here and I'm sure that it will only get ppl mad
so why do ppl see only the bad sides of things I guess I'll never know |

this is a discussion forum so i will respect that you are entitled to your opinion....
....but....as somebody mentioned earlier, in order to improve production you need to constantly upgrade software, hardware (sound modules, etc) and these things do not come cheap...
...when you say smaller shitier labels shutting down...thats probably the most ignorant thing i've read - surley these labels should get the chance to develope and grow to become something bigger and better without greedy people just stealing there hard work with a click of the mouse??

It's a bit ignorant to react on everything copied as "NO ILLEGAL GET AWAY!" For example, om mp3.com the artists themselves have music for download, for example etnica have a lot there. Other Infected Mushroom have a lot of track on their homepage.
I also dont like that everyone can have unreleased stuff. Look at the top 10 section how the f**k can everyone have unreleased stuff? That really destroys the fun of that section, imo.
