hello folks...
i just wonder where all pionners of our scene has gone?
X-dream,man with no name, cydonia, etnica, psychaos, morphem, midimiliz, juno reactor....and many others who really contribute into the evolution and revolution of our music?
is this a sign to think seriously what all these years happens around us and where we go???
any comments would be accepted with very much interest..

I believe cydonia, midimilz and juno are still rocking it around sometimes... as for the rest i'm not that sure so i guess they are still around.. maybe progressed into other musical preferences and stuff.
But everything happens for a reason so..

Probably they grew up!
Nowadays "psy" music sounds very childish.
Therefore ARTISTS (real artists) like X-dream, Juno Reactort etc. are not anymore interested of this scene. They have moved forward where the crowd can understand their "art".
regards
Tms

My guess is that they are out playing around the world, X-Dream had a tight schedule aswell as juno this summer.. Im sure that goes for the others aswell. man with no name is playing in sweden quite soon for example..
I think there's more money in playing around the world in big parties than releasing music theese days. Maybee they have families aswell now, and taking care of a family and still beeing in the scene is quite a hard mission

I think they all tired of this music..and moved to more interesting styles..like techno..for example Extrawelt new midimiliz project is amazing stuff!!!
Now trance music more more childish..and a lot of not quality releases.
New labels grow like grass:)))
And it's difficult to find something quality and interesting now from new releases.

yeah its nice, altough i disagree with hercules
i dont see midimiliz as pioneers of psytrance scene.
They started release stuff in 2000 , not really pioneering
but maybe psytrance started in 2000
héhhéhéhé
btw,evolve or die ,
this scene isnt pop scene

X-dream = Still making killer techtrance, new Delta on the way.
MWNN = Still making trance music, maybe an album for TIP World
Cydonia = Former members are now Bulletproof, Dino still makes great tunes
Etnica = Still making trance, new Pleiadians album on the way, Rocked @ Sonica
Psychaos = Joti still in the scene, although he makes full-on with GMS and Wrecked Machines, I miss his hard industrial power
Midimiliz = Extrawelt. Nuf said...
Juno Reactor = Left the psyscene ages ago, makes more money touring Japan and licensing tracks to movie soundtracks
Morphem = ???. I know they released some stuff on ZMA as Segment a long time ago. |
