Red Alert i am in no means at all talking about our music man! When i speak in this forum i speak regarding the post! Have you read the post? Where are the people of our generation who create out of a need, and not because of wanting to be popular?

Yes i think there are many artists like this man who create out of need and out of love for the music and not because of wanting to be popular but because they want good music to be spread amongst the 4 winds of the world! and yes i want to be part of this not part of what's going on now with all the commercial and other stuff called killer. I want to be part of people who love professional serious psychedelic music! Now maybe you can understand my point better!

          Boom :)

So you think that we work so hard to get to something new only to get fricken popular? Man believe me if we want to get popular we could have done that a long time ago don't worry, but all we want right now is to play the music we make to the people who love it. So anyway man you can still think what you like now you know how i feel.

Psychologically speaking - the need to create art is usually driven by exhibitionism stemming from an abandonment complex (especially true for writers, but not exclusive to them). The need for popularity is one form of it, the need to do something special and creative is a deeper, more complex side of the same coin - popularity, but on the artist's terms. In simple logic: if you create something with your heart and soul, you want people to appreciate your heart and soul... otherwise, the creation of something experienced by others is not a need.

This in no way belittles such creation - on the contrary, the people who appreciate special people tend to also appreciate special music... and everyone wins.
