This scene is not boring at all, actually the music itself is the longest style I've ever spun and danced with.. It keeps evolving, Some genre's more than others, it did get a bit stale for me 2001-2003. Yes, I am bored with the the old sound acting as if it's the standard. They don't even respect the new sound. I think no reference are being given because they really don't know a name to drop...
I'm not to sure if anything in this topic can really help newbies learn but it has given me a confirmation. It's up to me if I wish to let shallow standards bait me in again.
I am once again very sorry if I have hurt anyone's feelings, It was not my intentions. 2012 is so close, I felt it was time to change the approach and help get her done, so we can start loving again.

its nice,but I wouldnt give any further infos,you mentioned you like psykovsky - so I guess you have found it somewhere.
You have a pc ,you found this side so try to find google like someone mention already .
The same way you could find other of the names you mention.Eazy as that.
And than- read again all before getting insulting indirectly.Intentions and blabla smoke a phat baba man.Really relax.
I myself mentioned it can be too different for your ears.Could be.For you.If this is bad intentions than I dont know.
You mention that you are not sure it that all can help newbies- why should all ever at any page in any thread and topic help at any case here and there newbies?Is a discussion on a normal level impossible?I found your statement very disrespective and no..not only for the 2 music names you mentioned.
If you started later than you will probably not feel the old way.
Cheers - im laugin on that strugling here so often on this pages.One side its the greatest side of production teachings and tips with much more nothing inbetween but superb nevertheless,other side is sort of ego ,competition ,strugling,insulting and stuff like this.Really.So please take it eazy and you know giving bad vibes over some sounds you even not know is getting not in my mind.Apart of this silence is sometimes better than nothing.I found there was some intenions for me so I only answered.The same if you dont know nothing bout the references of some people than what do you know about them really= noting.Im out of here.And for me 2012 will be probably like 2011.but ok thats only personal view hehe.cheers

We are falling into the whole "my trance is better than yours" argument again and there is no positive outcome from this. The music from the artists you mentioned, sounds like its different for the sake of being different to me. There's nothing in that music that I find remotely psychedelic, driving and generaly something that would make me dance and have a few religious experiences on top.

Tweak your filter, I'm just words on the screen, the only true tones are in the head.
Aerosmith and AC/DC are two great examples of respected artist in their industry. Their music has not really evolved as time moved forward, the words have changed but not the sound. Sad thing for our scene, no words..

Saying you know how someone's music is going to sound like before you even hear it is asking for what kind of understanding exactly? You want people to open their minds and join in a positive forward thought? Try opening yours first.

Achieving understanding would work best if you repeat back what you feel I said. This would make it more of a human conversation for starts.
We are all from different parts of the World with our languages in understanding. Our connection is the music and grammar isn't my strong point, sorry.

can you fill in the blanks? i'm just not sure how you started talking about this and since there's no apparent connection to what was said before, it's difficult to follow. who are the newbies who are trying to understand? why would pipe's list, or your list, or my list help them to understand it?
isn't it all a matter of taste and preference? |
