The people that have been making proper psychedelic trance for more than a decade, still do.
It just seems like the trends are switching, but at the end of the day, I prefer some of the dark tunes, than the cheesy Israeli copy paste brigade...and due to the nature of the dark stuff, it means that its gonna get played out (mostly) throughout the night, so that leaves the good stuff for the morning/day time.

someone mentioned here that limitation of genre itself is this what we feel bored about. Maybe. But still i can find sometime music of this genre that atract me a lot. And overall i can't agree with such argument. What i badly miss now in this music is music. I could say i prefer form of serving music as dancable electronic is. But this is only a form of serving music.
There is no reason to point and kill these loads of young people delivering loads of empty forms you hear today. Its not their fault they are not prepared well. We face time when everyone can publish and what we didn't learn yet is how to filtrate.
All of them will grow and develope, some of them will quit. What we see is a musical infant-school and you have to look and listen to this. Well, maybe it is not a nice thing to do but at least you can notice that is all alive and breathing. I beleive that people have a natural instinct to change and develope, to improve what they do. All of beginers need a time to walk thru such proccess.
And again, its all about internet, all about access to media and tools. Everyone can so everyone does.
i do my way, always. I don't look at others. It helps me internally but on other hand kills marketing possibilities i have. My choice is to do what makes me feel good and i feel good when i like what i have done.

Please, Explain proper psychedelic trance? and What Artist apply to "good stuff for the morning/day time"?
Help the newcomers out with understanding by giving a list of names and the proper sound definition of psychedelic trance .
Personally, My perception is not asking for a Breath of Stale Air. However, I would like to help the newcomers understand the standard perception so they have a reference point. Yes, I do have an idea where your going to go, I plan to add to your list so the newcomer gets a bigger idea without conditioned thoughts...
What are "loads of empty forms", from a dancing view without music theory and Harmonics? You can use metaphysics if you wish to break down tones with sound references, it's spiritual and a big part of our roots from GOA, Dancing view only, please.
The standard Artist view at most is selling themselves and in most cases don't even dance.
Quantum Mechanics are tasty but lets keep it simple for now...

I also had a spirit some years ago that loud music and nice nature surrouning was enough for me to be satisfied. Time is passing by changing my life and perception. I search for different impulses to satisfy my mind.
definition of trance, psy, techno etc is not a point. Point is to understand that there is no definition at all and what is beautifull in art is exactly no limitations. Beautiful things happen while you are lost in art and you don't know what you are doing and which way you should go. What i miss now is creative approach to music called electronic.
i always wanted this music to be filled with musical meaning and content. I know that maybe this way of thinking is not very popular but as i said this is what i feel is right. Maybe im old, maybe im too young, maybe gay. not my job to judge

X-Dream still puts music out? I know the Delta is still kicking it and the new Future Prophecy is a major let down compared to younger days but the Dream is doing it again?.. Send me a link to their new stuff along with Kox Box, Tristan, Dado, Logic Bomb and Transwave so i can hear what they got today because their old stuff is what wheelchairs are made of.... Prana, Infinity Project, Darshan , Sandman, Total Eclipse, Astral Projection, Doof, Har-ell, Deedrah, Hallucinogen to name a few oldie but goodies to go with your nice taste, as a Reflection.
If your trying to answer the question then please answer the questions. Establishing true communication requires a true connection in understanding each.

The point is that 90% of the trance ''musicans'' today are not musicians !
hell, some dosent even know do re mi fa so la si !
maybee it's the lack of musicians, or maybee it's the lack of creativity, or maybee it's the lack of dreamers, or maybee all togather.
we just stock in one place, and not moving forward.
and as the time passing by it's just getting boring and boring. |

@ Kino Oko ... + 100!
The LAte Luciano Pavarotti... did not know how to read music.
I dont think the music scene currently is bad. Do u only want the same ol people to make music for another 50 years? Dont u want to have some new blood? How will a genre go forward without accepting new ideas ? The problem is that you are restricting yourself. Just let yourself free... Good music is good music... be it any genre. If u feel at one point that it isnt fascinating you anymore... i suggest you listen to some other form of music for a while. A change isnt always bad necessarily.
Cut out the negativity.

but Pavarotti delivered good music. Hendrix too, good guitarist, a? Plenty of them. I dont mean education but heart and imagination allowing you to create unknown. Create unknown is a precious gift. If you create well known you are craftsman.

How can there be development when definitions are so tight? When the mind is not open?
So many people in this musical movement are so preoccupied with generizing, labeling and formulating everything that comes out, with looking for music that sounds "like this", with going dancing only to "this kind of music", with releasing "that kind of music", with "this is not what I expected from this label", etc. etc.
In this reality, once you develop- you're out!
Psychedelic trance culture is not an open mind culture. An oxymoron? Sad reality!
Kino Oko, really liked all you wrote. I agree with every word.
