so do you think its a good thing, this fast psy? does it move your booty and your soul?

Actually, imho, the more intelligent and fast the psytrance music is, like Highko, the better and easier it becomes for me to dance like a mad professor. mayb this is just me and my dancing groove, though I HIGHly doubt it.

So I say 'Yay' to fast killargh pietrance as long as it has some intelligenz, what ever that might be/mean.

peace out,

yes well 90 bpm hiphop kicks are by far more long and subby then 128bpm 4x4 maybe thats the real dark trance (btw heard of rbass and eq? they can fatten your sound in any bpm)

that hole topic is rotten from the base very first post in spilling shit on people you know and dont know

dissing their music and musical taste

wheather i like it or not is not even a question its just rude and i have no idea how the mods here let it stay online

and aaron to move with this shit energy you bring here to personal level between us is very wrong you better remember who you talk with all the time we have spend together in my house and in russia incase you gonna treat me like another forum idiot.
or maybe i should remind you tripping like butterfly on the dancefloor in my set and the good words you said after..

duh, you probably are what you affraid to be treated like. you must be running behind every possible artist just to 'live' a few moments with him and then foolishly use it for your reputation or whatever. your words remind me of girl who's crying because someone told her about her small breasts, lame lawers that use wooden language and cops. you could definately be a cop, a gentle one, in your next life maybe

nah... elad is a talented musician in his own right. i was a little pissed by him joining the gang but he's definately got his own thing going... thanks for sticking up for me- im not sure i even met you john but i appreciate it.

well i'll face it i was being a dick. but i stand by the main point.
fast psy sucks and its dragging shit down. a lot more than my comments on it are... i cant wait for it to go away...
it seems every new producer is on this fast thing... but the vast majority of the scene is not... i hear complaints. i would not say these things so publicly if i didnt think it was needing to be said...

People get caught up on "psychedelic", they forget the "trance"

How can music put you in a dance-trance if it is constantly tripping you up and messing with your rhythm?

How can you stay in a trance if the music is so fast that it wears you out and you have to go sit down?

I'll be back later guys, I'm going to go listen to some psychedelic trance music

Excuse me but wasn't this hyper fast and at times brutal psytrance a direct response to the terrible Pepsi-Full-On epedemic we had some years back? Shouldn't you be thanking them and try to look at the larger picture at hand instead of judging every curve that comes along the evolution of psytrance?

just sayin'

this place is like a zoom out of real society with the good and the bad stuff of it. i really feel like reacting when someone's beeing set on the wall because of the ignorance of most people on what's really going on.. we haven't met but you make music, your personality is beeing exposed. ok you talk also but is music that makes me know you, better than you know me.

we already had that going on with the "psychedelic" trance scene... aka The Dark Split...

in the reaction you describe
first there was soft vs hard (circa 2000)
then there was dark psy vs fullon (the split was around 2003/4)
and now dark psy is split (fast vs usual trance bpms)

and i contend this split is a wrong turn.
if i could modify one thing i would say its the beat- why keep this 4 to the floor kick with 16th hi hats and the offbeat one usually also... it sounds silly.
hardcore techno about 20 years back went faster and faster and the straight kick stuff became 'hardcore' as we know it and gabber. the vast majority went into broken beats at higher bpms and become jungle drum and bass etc...
we are reinventing the wheel here. and to be frank i dont really like that the most underground steady trance trance trance scene has to be constantly hijacked by this silly trend... its as cheesy as pepsi IMNSHO

Even the darkest of dark trance is pretty tame compared to the dark sides of drum and bass and gabber

you right small tits are my real problem and my work IS actually police officer that in charge of sniffing the air behind trance artists..

i just said all along that artistic freedom is GREAT and everyone should do what they want. and it CANT be wrong.
and also there is planty of good music to listen to wheather you like trance jazz metal or pop.

if thats anywhere close to be wrong then im idiot and you have larger tits so you "win".

with ocelot i think everything is clear throu PM its much easier with people that know me personally

and just for the record no i dont really like 160bpm psy , but i like creativity and music with no boundries thats all.           www.sattelbattle.com
