well ..i like to dance alone also ..i have a special moves for each sound ....i mean when it`s full on part ..when it`s ambient part (without drums and bass) ...and so ...i don`t understand when i see people are dancing the same all the time ...couple of the same moves and that`s it ..like there is no life in their dance ...it looks to me very robotic ...
but dancing alone can be bored in some time ....if there is no any guy with whom i feel i could dance, i just dance all around the crowd ..with some small crazy moves showing "we are one" .....it`s a dance when you feel you`re all alone between so many people and you want to connect with them ...something like that ..
however i agree also - psytrance is a solo experience ......very true ...

For me what got me very strong first in trance parties was the fact that it wasn't sex charged, it was so obvious coming from the dark alcholic smoky clubs of the end of the eighties and it's unbelievable what a change it was in the atmosphere and what a relief. The whole experience was totally different.
While in the clubs, like it or not, the bottom line was girls/boys, and the music and dancing and connecting to ppl around you was secondary, in parties it was exactly the other way around.
You could talk to people, even from the opposite sex, and the conversation wasn't charged, ppl weren't defensive, you could really get to know ppl, they were not playing games and trying to find clever things to say to impress you. They were just themselves.
And the great thing was that if you really liked someone, you knew he was just himself, and they knew the same about you, and then things were so much simple.
And in such atmosphere, the personal individual experience turns into a community-tribal one. And that is what it's all about...

Yeah Yeah , u are right Shahar ...im a cabron (man) but i think if u see a girl she is dancing ....
u cannot go to there and start talk with her if u see if having very nice time ...because is like a man ...for example if a fat and ugly girl comes to u wanting have smothing more than be your friend ..if u very stonned in ur trip u will feell fucking bad ....because u wasnt thinking that will ocurred ..same with a girl ..she isnt thinking a cabron will come and try something with she ....i think this kind of parties are not place to go to try get a girl ....if u want this go to a club ...people go parties to forget the week and bad things ...and if u put them another thing to think ...it turns bad ....i think at party the best think when u see nice girl u only need see her eye to eye (not need be close )...that say more things and continue dancing ..... |

I don’t think a nature party is a place to meet people.
Cause most people are not “chemically stable”, and everybody is in his own “movie”.
And even if you do meet somebody, most chances when you meet him/her after the party, you’ll find out it’s not the person you thought it would be.

but it's still an option to meet somebody nice in a party.
when I started going to parties it was in NY few years back, and I can tell you that i got picked up by girls in almost every party, which was great for me...hehe
I don't see enough of that happening in todays pareties, though it still happens once in a while...

BTW, another thing I noticed in parties very fast, is that a person that has the rhythm is very beautiful, even if they don't stand our everyday social standars of beautiful. I've seen people that if I sat opposite to them in the bus, would seem to me not very attractive, but they danced so beautiful that they were just charming.
