cubase initializes all plugins everytime you open. Either your computer is to slow, or you have to many plugins.....why not remove the stuff you dont use?

The Only way is to change to ableton live which starts up a shitload quicker even with a crapload of installed plugins.
Generally better thought out program. |

... not really what he asked, dude...
I think he is having the same problem you mentioned earlier, Bukboy - you are not experiencing normal Cubase load times. It sounds like you and Oil both have some kind of registry bug or whatever it is that marks a VST as "newly installed", that is causing Cubase to re-scan each plugin with full scrutiny in the manner that it does when the VSTs are first installed.
The result is the same in Live or Cubase - first time scanning for newly installed VSTs takes forever. If you freshly install a bunch of VSTs, Live will take a long time to load them too for that first time.
As far as what is causing this extra lag, I can't say. I would suggest running some kind of registry cleaner like CCleaner, but that's kind of a shot in the dark.

I can also advice not to have 'shitloads of vsts' installed. This approach usually causes probs with sequencers of all kinds, creates mess in projects and finally enlarges the learning curve of every plugin you'd like to use its potential.
Besides the technical probs you have and you can fix this I'm sure, I'd still advice to use less VST plugins - those you're most comfortable with and love them.
cheers.
