agreed. it sounds good when listening at home, but lacks "drive" on a big system and sounds especially awful on the smaller cheap/badly calibrated PAs they typically use at smaller parties (and it get even worse when they turn up the volume too much so that the limiter starts working, what sadly also happens a lot). i find that under these circumstances tracks which have the kick occupy most of the low end sound much better... |
