whats your opinion about the greek crowd tastes on music

the last 2 years full-on artists are coming a lot togreece.skazi and gms have become gods,but its not vrey good to be stuck in one style.i think that every style is for the right time.progressive for warm-up,then tech-trance and full-on at the morning to have melodic sunrise. |

greek people have a verry good taste in trance music compared to some europian countries(not all!)
but what is played by djs in the parties thats an other storry!
for example you call GMS full on but for me when i want to determine music like full on
i would like to think something like fungus funk, azax syndrom or parahalu(hungary great music!!!really psychedelic)
this kind of music you dont hear cause some people freak out.... thats an other storry!
why do you people freak out?
its just music!!!
all styles should be presented in parties!
from progressive to (i dont know how you call it )harder forms of trance. almost all kinds of music are psychedelic(ALMOST!!!)
its imposible to hear day melodies inside dark clubs in the night its worthless!
this year in samothraki they where playing morning music from the morning till the next morning
for sure if i listen to fungus funk or azax syndrom for long time i get bored and tired too!
the same with progressive or tech trance
all styles of trance music have their time

Well we made plenty of parties this year...
I won't say that skazi and gms etc became "gods"...it is something about these artists that makes the crowds love them.
We also made events with plenty new comers though, but people didn't respond as much as we expected to.
We will try to continue bringing new artists from all kinds of the trance scene anyway. |

Dear Macdeath dont caracterise the crowd...i noticed that other people who like progressive tunes have also an agressive attitude against the others... I dont know where u live Athens or Vudapest, me in Athens, but i have to say that if the the not open-minded crowd, as u said, dont like your(s) preferences is a situation that points something.. It is not possible to be all stupids..and all the other clever and open-minded.
P.S. I dont want to be in your eyes the full experienced trancer but i have an opinion as i participate in Psychedelic Trance from 1996

hey guys i think you misunderstood me.i like all styles of psy trance and i dont judge anyones tastes,but think about if the scene stays stateable.
i also want to thank trance alliance team because instead of their likes they have brought a lot of pioneer and unknown artists to the greek crowd,with realy underground spirit in their events.hope to come back again |

Thats true...people always complaining that no new artists come to greece and when you organise events with newcomers, not many people turn up...And then the same people will start complaining "again Skazi?again Gms?"..... |

Well, IMO full on has really taken over control of peoples' minds here in Greece. I can say that being quite sure. I have tried to find a reasons why this is happening but I can't be really sure. Maybe because many discovered psy through the ridiculous style called uplifting? Or is it that the greek mind wants to hear melody music when they go to parties? Could it be because deep inside them they don't really appreciate this music and don't spend a lot of money on cds in order to expand their horizons?
But I can be sure for that: I know people that are becoming tired of hearing full on and do want to see other acts as well.

I think that people who are going at parties are buying cds on a maximum 20% or even less.
Most of the ppl buying cds are not so fanatic with parties(that's what i think)
Ppl are going at parties to have an alternative xperience.And i think that they like full on for this simle reason,that they are listening something diferent than house,mpuzukia,etc
The ones who are tiered from full on are supporting progressive music and they are not going anymore at parties.They simply want something diferent and house labels mooving on this direction.You can read on another topic about Sasha and more house djs
having ticon,tegma,etc in their sets.
So we need i think trance out of it and ,these who are tiersd can follow the house scene.
What i don't find right is that they want to acuse the full on ,or trance supporters,through trance forums .
They are trying to convince trancers that the way is ,with monroe,atmos,etc and they are doing this through trance forums,labels,even organisers.
Let trance be my friends.It is an established music scene and many ppl work hard,suffersd cause of police,and bleed for it...
You don't like it don't follow it.But stop acusing it cause all of you i think started with full on.Let the new comers njoy and follow another scen(house etc)

euphoria i buy 2cds every month and i dont miss the good events,even if they are full-on.also i dont support progressive(son kite,atmos...) but i like them too.think about how much time we have to see in athens artists like:tim schuldt-2 years,dino psaras-1 year,manmademan-about 3 years,x-dream/delta/midimiliz-1 year and many others newcomers we havent seen:rinkandik,damage,azax syndrom... |

I also like progressive 
But i don't like progressive supporters to blame the full on, and in general, the psy trance fans through this forum.
This is their home i think.
Does anyone knows a similar forum for house music,where for instanse,a Skazi fan posting against Digweed let's say? |
