its a one liner that people chant in hindu culture especially before inhaling from a chillum subsequently to take lord shiva's blessing.
Why are we going so deep into it, people who like it will continue chanting it people who dont wont. Its not about religion but more to do with an ancient ritual of sacred cannabis.aumshantiaum has already pointed out why the psy crowd uses it so much since we love toking.
why we use it so much after our posts on isra is i think is we are trying to signify positive vibes.

After almost 20 years in this scene it's just a bit too silly to see all the people who think it's so cool (in order to be accepted into the tribe) to say boom every 5 minutes even though they have no clue whatsoever what the meaning is.
I say NO THANKS to religious mumbo jumbo  I respect people's right to use religious words as long as they keep it to themselves.
If I am open minded or not is up to those who know me personally

and yes...they are stupid if they use it without knowing what is the meaning...
but what is wrong in using this term without being in India?? i know what the term means and i'm free to use it even if i have never been in India.

Well I never said anywhere it's wrong or silly to use it in India (unless it has become a fashion thing). I was very clear about it's silly to use it in the rest of the world by people who never traveled to India or know the meaning of the word.
My point is that the word Boom has become a fashion thing. But that's not news. It's been a fashion thing for years.
