so now after 2 years of learning by doing i have a lot of practice with synths/eq'ing/drums ... but i wonder more and more about those massive various glitch stuff in many tracks.
take this e.g.:
i cannot image that all these small glitches are set manually by cutting and placing samples or using tons of Illformed-Glitch instances in the arrangement ?!?!
after glitching nice(!!!) patterns over more than one or two minutes in a track takes me more than one week
so are there some "secrets" ???

manually mate! maybe by using the suffler effect from glitch..then bouncing..and start cutting from the WAV and shuffling the "shuffled parts" is a nice idea ive done that can work.
but tracks like this..chopped manually IMO, thats why electrypnose is on my top favorite artist, also check "Electrypnose - 2013" to see whats real chopping hehe Greetings Earthlings!

Mubali once mentioned something about selecting a range of audio and applying an effect to it in place through some right-click magick in Cubase. Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but it sounds like a quicker way to glitch things than cutting audio and working with slices.

Sample editors and manual editing.
Good productions take time and skill, Glitch Plug-ins are used to cut corners more often than not. They can add in extra flair to an already complicated arrangement, but they shouldn't be viewed as an easy way out.

manual editing got the limitless range of possibilities (cubase offline processing rocks),glitch got its 8 effects and that's all(not sure though i have to reinstall=).
I think glitch can be awesome because of his in the box pattern sequencer imo and when using it slightly like subconsiously.

... this would take me 10 years
btw. i think this is a nice way to "chop" samples/synths too! with using a sidechain gate you can use midi notes to chop up stuff.

You can get a cool result with ableton live simpler.
Load a sample, use short notes... 128, 64, 32 and some 16th.
Use automation on start, loop and lenght parameters.
To add more glitch, use beat repeat after it! xD
But nothing's better than manual edits!

It is manual for sure.
It is why cubase it is so handy, although it can be achieved in any daw cubase offline fx, envelopes, reverse, bounce, and all of its wave editing capabilities make this pretty easy to do once you have practice.
In fact manual glitch let you have total control for how and when the sound goes wild. Using ALT + scissors, bouncing, CONTRL+D, shorten samples to 16,32,64,128 and slight fade them out, reversing, modifying amplitued values, bouncing together, pitchshift them, crushthem, quadrafuzz, different times delay, reverb, invert again go crazy...
When you least expect it you have glithed all the fucken track up.

If you use ableton check out tom cosm's vimeo, he has a bunch of really excellent glitch tutorials.
