Hi all.
Does anyone know the difference between the motu ultralite and the motu ultralite mk3?

Sorry, no idea about your question, just wanted to voice my experience with MOTU:

Other issues include:
- Randomly stops other USB devices working (Virus TI and Line 6 Toneport) requires a restart to see them again.
- Device won't sync with sample rate correctly
- Installing the drivers blue screens my PC every time. I have no idea if they are installed correctly!
- Using the devices audio control panel sometimes bluescreens or knocks the device off the USB and requires switching on/off.
- Latency is over 30ms even on lowest buffer. As a pianist I can feel that.
- Exporting the mixdown sometimes results in 'Export error Timeout' I have no idea what that is!
- Support is useless. They haven't even read my email yet and I sent it over a week ago.
I was previously using an MAudio 2496, cheap as chips.. not one issue since purchase 4 years ago.
This thing is going back, no questions.
Very disconcerting that there have been no firmware updates since the device was introduced years ago.
Recommendations for a replacement welcome. |
